Now that is one cute boy ready to hit the waves! This month Thomas has had many exciting "firsts". He has changed so much just in the last few weeks I can't believe it. He is not a tiny baby anymore! He is growing and learning faster then you can blink! He is at a really fun stage right now though, he is very playful and very curious and we are loving getting to experience new things with him daily!
For Thomas' six month birthday we decided to celebrate by taking him to the pool for the first time. He loved it! It was so much fun to watch him. At first he was a little unsure of things, but before too long he was splashing around and smiling and screeching as usual. It was so cute because he would only splash with one hand. What a silly guy. Sadly I didn't get any really good pictures. I wanted to take part in the fun and play in the pool too! Now take a good look at the picture below. Does anything strike you as unusual? Thomas has a farmers tan!! I think it is the cutest thing ever! One day we were giving him a bath and I thought, "Wait a minute...can that be? Do babies get farmers tans?" Well apparently they do! He must have got that from his Dad!
Here is Tommy playing in the sandbox! Another first. As you can see by that adorable cheesy grin on his face he LOVED it! This boy loves feeling new textures. Of course he grabbed a handful of sand and tried to eat it too. Oh dear.
One day I sent Clint and Thomas out to water the garden and this is what I found! Thomas was splashing his little foot in the water and got Clint completely drenched. It was so funny. It looked like Clint had an accident :) I love that these two boys have so much fun together. And I love watching how much Clint adores Thomas. And likewise, Thomas absolutely loves Clint. These two boys are going to have a lot of fun together.
Look at that cute little face! This is the best part of my day! Waking up to a screech in the other room and bringing Thomas into bed with me in the morning makes waking up at 6:30 not so bad.
This guy just keeps me laughing all day! When Clint puts Thomas in the exersaucer he says, " Its time to go to the office Thomas!" And then Thomas goes to work. Sometimes he puts in a better day at the office than others. But don't we all?
This boy is just too cute for his own good.
Now the biggest milestone is that just a few days before his 6 month mark Thomas started to crawl! And that was just a week ago and he has improved so much so quickly. Its kinda freaking me out! He can get across the room pretty quickly now. Today he really picked up some speed! He is loving this new freedom! The whole world is now at his fingertips. You can just see such a difference in his demeanor. He is quite content to explore and play! Before he would try and try and try to move and he would get so frustrated. He could see other babies moving around and you could just tell he wanted in! Check out the little guy in action!
