Getting to know Thomas

I love being this little guy's Mom. One of the best parts about it is getting to know him as he starts to develop his own little personality. Thomas is a very sweet and lovable little guy. Everyone who meets him just oohs and ahs over him. He is very alert and wide eyed. He is starting to be able to really hold his attention and focus on things. He loves to have stories read to him and loves to stare at the pictures. He has started smiling and it is just about the most adorable thing ever. However, getting a smile out of him is like spotting a Quetzal in the wild. He is a very serious little guy! He lets out a few smiles a day though and they are even more amazing then the Quetzal, and I have seen both!
Little Thomas HATES bath time. It is so sad! After his first bath I almost decided to never give him another one! He was screaming like you wouldn't believe...and the worst is when he gets tears coming from his eyes. Here he is fresh off a bath and trying to calm down. This is seriously one of my favorite pictures! He is just so cute. He is getting better at it though. He even had a bath the other day and I think he is maybe even possibly going to like them one day.
Thomas, like many babies, gets very sleepy when he is moving. In fact, he needs movement most of the time to even fall asleep. This can be very tiring at 3:00 in the morning. Thus, the infant swing has become our best friend.
I love this picture! Thomas looks like a crazy mad scientist. He is just so stinking cute. I love his little furrowed brow and his crazy hair. Whenever I change his onesie, his hair just sticks straight up. I am very lucky to get to spend my time with such a sweet little boy and I love getting to know him more and more everyday and watching him develop.

Tiny Thomas, Three Weeks Old

Can't believe this little guy is already 3 weeks old. And I can't imagine my life without him.
