Apple Picking

We went on our annual Allred family apple picking outing last weekend. It was so much fun. Don't mind Thomas' outfit, Clint dressed him.

Why carry one apple when you can carry 2?

This is what our bag looked like

They had a cute little tractor train ride for the kiddies. After standing in line FOREVER Thomas white knuckled it. :) The kids not quite ready for thrill rides.

2 months of Sweet Caroline

Sweet sweet Caroline is now 2 months old. I love her so much. She brings so much peace to our home. She is just so pleasant and easy going. And just so beautiful.  I am just soaking up the newborn phase this time around. I have to admit, with Thomas it was all a bit overwhelming and exhausting I don't think I took time to really enjoy it, but this time around I am loving it. I love the way she smells, the little breaths she takes, her sweet sounds and adorable smiles. I love her deep, calm blue eyes. I find myself looking in them and seeing glimpses of her precious soul. I have teared up on occasion just looking in her eyes. She is just so sweet.
It is so fun having a little girl to get all dressed up every day. I enjoy it a little too much!
This little girl now weighs 13 lbs 6 oz, and is in the 85% in both weight and height. Just look at those little rolls and folds. She is so cuddly!
 More rolls!
Sometimes she is "a little bit nervous" as Thomas would say. You have to be with such a hyper big brother living in the house! But you give her a minute one on one and she will just melt your heart with her smiles.

We all love this lady immensely. Yesterday she had her shots and was screaming and Thomas came up to her and stroked her hair and said, "What's wrong Sweetheart?" It makes me so happy to see how much he loves her.
