Thankful
We had a great thanksgiving, spent with some of our dearest friends out here in Columbus Ohio. Thomas ran his first race. The top picture makes me laugh, he doesn't look like the most enthusiastic runner! But the second pose was all his own! And it was his idea to stand on the pedestal too. He makes me laugh. He had a fun time running the little 100 meter dash.
I made a popcorn paper bag turkey and we set up the projector and watched Charlie Brown's thanksgiving special. The kids LOVED it. They ate 2 bags of popcorn all on their own.
The little lady slept through most of the dinner, but she made an appearance at the end and everyone was so happy to see this cute chubby face.
Thomas and Lincoln decided to reenact their race and line up their blankets in the hallway. Thomas has a lot of blankets. Those boys have so much fun together. I am so glad Thomas has such a good friend. The Glenn family have been a big blessing in our lives out here in Ohio, so thanksgiving wouldn't be the complete without them here. Our friend Jen also joined us, which especially made Thomas happy. He loves her. And Our friend Justin brought his family as well. We are so lucky to have so many wonderful people to care about in our life. Its always overwhelming for me to reflect on my blessings. I have been given so much. A beautiful family, two perfectly adorable and precious children, a wonderful husband who works so hard for us, in addition to our supportive family out in Utah. We also enjoy good health, a nice place to live and the freedom that comes from being American. We have had opportunities like education, travel and luxuries that many people in the world cannot even image. And we have been blessed with the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a very lucky girl. I couldn't ask for anything more. I am blessed.

My Little 3 Month Darling
Our beautiful baby girl is now 3 months old and oh my, how I love her. She is the most peaceful and lovely creature I know. And as you can tell, she is just gorgeous. Hence the photo overload to follow. I'm sure no one minds looking at pics of this lovely though.
This has been a big month in terms of developments for Miss C. I feel like we are really finally in a good groove with everything. Now its hard to imagine my life without 2 kids. This lady is growing so fast. She is getting stronger and bigger every day. I can't believe how big she looks holding herself up from her tummy. What a doll. One of the biggest developments is that Caroline is now sleeping through the night. And I don't mean sleeping for 8 hours. No. She sleeps 12-13 hours every night. It is AWESOME! I can't tell you what a relief this is for me, seeing that I don't get any breaks in the day to take naps. I am feeling so much better emotionally and physically. It has made a big difference.
She has also started laughing, although its usually interrupted by Thomas coming to pounce on her. But what a cute sound it is! She is also now grabbing at things and trying to roll over. She doesn't get quite as much floor time as she should, because she lives with a wild animal in the house. But we are doing better :)
The little miss has also started sucking her thumb. I knew this was coming, and couldn't stop it. And truthfully, it is a big component to her sleeping so well, so i will deal with this issue in a year or two and enjoy it for now.
Just look at that little girl! A living doll I tell you!
Oh and yes, she is still as chubby as can be. Love all those cute little rolls. And just look at those eyes, can't you see her sweet, gentle soul? Beautiful.
I love to carry this lady around. It makes me happy.
Everyone loves to snuggle this girl.
Life with Thomas....
Anyone with a big brother can tell you...sometimes they are a bit pesky.
But really, you just can't help but love them! You know a big brother deep down just loves you to pieces. And Thomas truly loves this lady. Whenever she wakes up from a nap Thomas says, "Oh! The Lady's awake!"This is the exact dialogue that Thomas was having, "Tarwowine! Don't be nervous. It's just me."
Yeah I think that is what makes her nervous. Ha ha! Gotta love this little monkey boy.
Whenever I'm taking pictures of Caroline, Thomas says, "Mama, take my picture!" And of course you can never have too many pictures of this rascal. I think this one really captures his essence. And this one captures his saggy little mane, and of course it shows his sweet side too. Love that boy.
And here he is after his hair cut. I had to negotiate with him to let me cut his hair, he had to cut a few snips from mine! Hopefully that doesn't happen every time...although it probably will. Isn't he a handsome boy?
Ok. I had to post this picture. But before you report me for being the a terrible mother, please know two things. First, immediately following this picture I sent Thomas to time out and told him that he CAN NOT jump over Caroline. She is our sister, not a hurdle. And secondly, I knew that Caroline was in no real danger when I snapped this photo. So I had to take advantage of the moment. Think of me as a photo journalist, taking actions shots of the nitty gritty real life happenings to preserve history :) This is as real as life gets at our house.
I love this picture. I love how much Clint loves this little girl. She has him wrapped around his finger. It makes me so happy to see how much my husband loves our children. And vice versa. This lady loves her papa.
And these pics just show my darlings sweet expressions, and I had to throw in 2 monkeys for good measure.
