So this is the first (and Last!) time that I have ever gotten into watching American Idol. It was mostly because my friend Stephen LOVED David Archuletta. I will have to agree, he was just too cute not to love. It was a very anti-climactic moment having David Cook announced as the winner, because we all knew it was coming, but we had a party anyway, mostly to offer moral support for Stephen. Yesterday we heard the David Cook song on the radio, and now I can see it that it was pretty good ( for cheesy, sentimental pop music crap) But we will still miss our little David

Awe, I'm so glad you had an American Idol party!!! We had one too, and I'm still recovering from David A not winning...so sad. He should have won. I like David Cook too, but our little Utah native is so cute like you said!! And Laurie....never say it's your "last" American Idol party!! AI is so much fun to watch and you better believe if you move back to Utah you'll be watching it with ME this time :)
