This last weekend I flew out to meet my friend Alma in Chicago. He had a business conference there and it was the perfect excuse to get aways from Columbus and see one of the most amazing cities in the world. I think Chicago might be one of my favorites. And New York! And London! And Seattle! And Boston! and Rome! Oh and Paris!!! What can I say? I am a city girl. It was really great because during the days Alma (who yes we are JUST FRIENDS) was in meetings that meant I could do whatever I wanted by myself!!! Which is my ideal way to spend a vacation. There is not much that I love as much as being alone in a big city walking down new streets and taking in all the beautiful architecture and sites. So fun!!! Of course most of my time was spent at the art museums. We also went to Millennium Park, Taste of Chicago Food Festival, Navy Pier and the musical Wicked, which was really good.
This picture is really funny, because we went to Alma's nephew's performing group, Clayton Productions, and I knew Nicole and Tasha would LOVE this!!! I was so embarrassed.

I have to agree with Jen, I would love to travel a bit more. Looks like a blast! (I also agree that you look great.) Glad you are keeping us all updated.

By the way I have been meaning to comment on your previous post. Thanks for making me look like a terrible friend by calling you Anastatia... Which by the way you still don't get what I was trying to say, which by now I have forgetten myself, but I am sure you got it all wrong. Either way your a beautiful girl and I am so happy to have you as my bestest Friend.
Oh and by the way I think what I said was much nicer then your sister...... You look nothing like Tarzan. His hair is much dirtier than yours.

Laurie that is SOOO funny about the clayton performing group getting you from the audience!! Now you know what kind of stuff Tasha and I did :) Anyway, your trip looks awesome. You and Alma totally look like a couple, haha!! No wonder everyone thought you were. It was so great to talk to you last night!!! I'm happy with your decision and most importantly, you seem super happy!! Congrats!
