Oh my goodness! This boy does not slow down!!! I really can't keep up with him. I'm not even exaggerating when I say that this boy learns something new everyday! This month has been a huge one in terms of milestones for little Thomas. He has learned a lot! Who knows what he will be doing tomorrow!!! First off, Thomas learned to sit up! Doesn't he just look downright adorable? It makes him look so much older somehow! He looks like a little boy, only he is still tiny!!
Do you notice anything different with that adorable cheesy grin? Yep! Now he has an adorable, cheesy toothy grin! How cute! He really didn't get cranky with this one. I just noticed one day that he had it! I didn't even know it was coming! As I mentioned in my last post, another milestone Thomas had this month is transitioning to solid foods. He is still just on rice cereal, and he has mixed reactions to it. I am trying my best to make it a fun time for him, because he is already hard enough when it comes to feeding time. But I think he will like it! He is ready to expand his palette. He loves his vitamin D drops that he gets at night time! He sucks them straight out of the dropper before I can do anything and then begs for more! Its so funny. I decided to try a tiny taste to see what the fuss was about, and they are absolutely disgusting!!! So anythings got to taste better than that!
I could not believe my eyes this morning when I went to get Thomas out of the bed he was standing up! He freaked me out!!! That is why the picture is a little blurry. I took one and then he toppled over! Ekk! Little rascal. This little boy just learns so fast I am in awe. He is not only now pulling up to standing, but he has also figured out how to crawl the stairs AND he knows how to get to the stairs. He loves getting to the top of the stairs and then making a mad dash to his favorite room in the house: the bathroom! Maybe it appeals to him because it is forbidden. My mom thinks I should just indulge him and play in there. Forgive me for not wanting to spends hours a day on the bathroom floor.
Here is a darling picture I took of Thomas today at Baby Story Time at the Library. Thomas LOVES the library. I think it is his favorite place! He is very social so its fun for him to see other babies and he has a new place to explore and play. Plus he loves books! So we try to go there several times a week. He has started to protest when we leave.
One of Tom's favorite things! Playing with the sheets on the big bed.
Little man looking rather dapper before church.
This little guy is all smiles. He has a reputation for being a pretty serious little guy, but Mom and Dad know this little guy is just a happy and playful dude under his serious surface. He is just like Clint!
A few more cute pics of Tom at the Library. What a little sweetie.
This little guy is like a little puppy. He sure knows how to make a mess. Right now his favorites things are books, wheels, shoes and balls!
This guy does not like being confined. I have to laugh out loud every time he does this before I set him free!
Here is Tom with his little buddy Lincoln. Lincoln just turned 1 so Thomas is enamored with all of Lincolns mad skills. One day these two boys were playing at the library and Lincoln climbed over a pile of books. I cook see in Thomas' eyes this Ah-ha moment! "You mean I can go OVER things!!!" Its pretty cute to see them play. One day Lincoln's mom Keely was watching the boys and I came home to find Thomas chasing Lincoln around just giggling and giggling. He is so cute.We just love our little Thomas and love getting to see him learn, grow and experience new things. This little guy sure has a mind of his own, but we wouldn't change a thing about him. He just has the cutest little personality and zest for life. It make me excited to get to share new things with him! I wonder what he will learn in the next month!!!

Thanks for sharing all those adorable pictures of Thomas, he is growing up so fast. It's crazy how that happens and it's so fun when that start moving and exploring. Man, we miss you guys, but we probably won't be out to visit til Christmas. Hope you'll be around so we can get together.
Thomas is such a cute, busy boy!
It makes me glad that Jonathan isn't that active yet...but it makes me excited for him to get to that point too!
It's so much fun to play with active little baby boys! Jonathan is doing an army crawl...but I think he's so big that he's having a hard time lifting his body so that he can crawl! 20 lbs. of baby is hard for ME to lift up...so it's got to be a struggle for Jonathan!
The picture of Thomas in the striped yellow and brown shirt (sitting up at the library) reminds me so much of you when you were a baby. So sweet.
Oops. I stand corrected. I thought you posted this blog on September 11th as well as the last blog. Mom has no excuse for not commenting on this post! :)
I never knew you posted it! He Is so cute. I can't wait to see him.
