One Crazy Summer

This summer has really flown by. It seem like only yesterday we were packing up the truck getting ready to move from Ohio to Utah. (if you look really closely in the background you will see a little orange blur of a dog, Holly, watching his friend Thomas pack up) Sometimes I still find myself deeply missing Ohio. The move hasn't been too difficult, the adjustment hasn't been too hard, but I do miss Ohio. Part of me always will. But we have been happy here as well.
Moving was hectic though. I think I will always remember the day we pulled out of our driveway on Tremont Road. We didn't leave until around 10:00 pm because it was so crazy getting everything cleaned and packed. It was a stressful, stressful whirlwind. It was emotional, but we were so stressed, that kind of watered down the emotions of it all. But I will always remember seeing Ursula and Holly waiting for us (for a few hours) and waving goodbye from across the street.
And here is our new house on Claybourne Circle. That tiny girl lives inside!
Here is the tiny girl exploring a rather empty new house.
We loved the abundant apricots and peaches. Yum! That was a fun surprise to get with the new house.
And we have LOVED exploring the mountains together with our little family. It is something we all really enjoy. Thomas and Clint especially. We have been lucky to go on a few nice hikes as well as a short little camp out with the Allred's. These pictures are from our trip with them. Thanks to Grandma Allred for taking the pictures!
The tiny boy fast asleep in the trailer.
Nothing like a relaxing evening of fishing on a serene lake.
He caught one!!! Well Uncle Russ helped :) Thomas was very nervous but also excited about this!

The lovely little lady enjoys being in nature too!

And here are some other random happening from around the house the last couple of months:

This tiny girl LOVES shoes. she just likes to sit down and try different ones on. Its the cutest. She is learning and growing at lightning speed. She took her first steps a about a week ago, and just the other day was up to 6 steps. She will be taking off in no time. She is also up to over 25 words in her vocabulary! It is so fun to watch her lean and pick things up.
A recent new skill, standing on her head.
Brother trying to show her how it is done.

She loves her baby. She likes to eat with it and sleep with it and give it loves.
And she is very helpful in the kitchen.

Nothing like have my two babies sit down for a quiet moment to read. I love this!
What a comfy spot to cuddle up with a good book!

I took more pictures of Thomas, but hey are on my other camera which I cannot find anywhere!!! But he has been doing well with the move. He does ask about his friend Lincoln and tells me that he "really really misses him" It makes me sad. But he has had so much fun with his cousins and grandparents. And he has also loved school and swim lessons. His latest interest" Pirates! What a sweet man.

Caroline stood on her head at my house, too.

It made me sad to see your truck in your Ohio home. I wish Ohio were only 3 hours away (drive time) and I could come and visit you there all the time. Well, maybe 30 minutes away. It was a beautiful place to live, for sure.

I love having all of you here, though. It's a gift to me and I'll take whatever time I can get.
