This last weekend, my boyfriend, Clint (yes I am dating someone now, crazy I know) and I went to Kirtland. It was a lot of fun to see the temple and the church history sites. My favorite part was the Newell K Whitney Store. It was neat to think of how many significant things happened in that place. It definitely gave me greater appreciation for Newell K Whitney and Emma Smith for having to move her kids into someone else's store. And it was neat because it was the first time I have been to a church history site that the prophet Joseph Smith had been to! I really liked it. It was a very nice day.

Thats so awesome that you guys got to go to Kirtland! Seems like such an awesome place. You guys are super cute together! I was actually thinking about you the other morning- we'll have to get together next time you come home. Oh- and they aren't demo-ing my old house- they are adding on to it! The roof is off the garage and they are connecting the 2 buildings. :) Yay!

Am I going to be the topic of the next entry? That only seems to make sense. Otherwise I'm going to feel left out. It could be about this awesome video about Mormon art that your friend B-train gave you months ago and how sweet it was and how it changed your whole perspective on niche art and by gaining that new perspective (vista, if you will) your art had taken a drastic change in direction leading you to create a whole new genre that revolutionize not only the artistic community of Columbus (go bucks) but of the world.

Laurie!! You updated your blog!!! Fun to see pics of you and Clint together...keep them coming :) Wow, you have been able to do some neat stuff while living in Ohio. I remember going to Kirtland and thinking it was really neat as well. Kinda strange that a member of the RLDS church/missionary was giving the tour, but it was still REALLY neat!! Glad you had fun.
