What A Week!

Here we are at our wedding dinner Monday June29Here comes the happy newly married couple!

What a handsome guyBFF's! Me and Emmie

wow, it really is true, your wedding day is the happiest day of your life! the last couple of weeks have be packed with events and things to do but it all came together to form a very beautiful, happy day. When I finally saw clint after nearly three weeks away from each other at the bountiful temple (when I received my endowments) I was completely overjoyed and just cried. I missed him so much! from that point on the wedding festivities were non-stop. We had a lovely wedding dinner the evening before the wedding in Odgen, and it was so nice to be surrounded by our closest friends and family, we are so lucky to have so many people who care so much about us. The next morning, I woke up refreshed (thanks to Tylenol pm) and excited to get married. I wasn't even a bit nervous. Just excited. I got ready and headed to the temple, happy and eager to see my soon to be husband. Clint was waiting for us when we got there and he looked as cute as ever in his grey suit. After waiting for what seemed to be forever, we got our paperwork finished and got dressed for our wedding. Clint's grandpa was able be our sealer and it was a really beautiful ceremony. I was overwhelmed with joy to see my best friends and close family all so happy to see us get married. It was a lovely experience. What an exciting and powerful thing to be able to be sealed with the person you love most for all eternity. What a blessing! Really the best of my life. After the wedding and pictures we headed to the reception at my dad's house. It got a little stressful for a bit trying to put everything together in time for more pictures. The wind blew over some table and chairs so it was all a little hectic. I have to admit I turned into a little bridezilla for a short time trying to get things put together, now I look back and think I really didn't need to be so stressed, because everything turned out perfect and I do have to say I think we had the cutest little backyard wedding since I don't know when. Thanks so much to my family who worked tirelessly to get everything put together. My mom made 45 dozen cupcakes! Talks about a labor of love. My stepmom and I made all the flower arrangements the night before, so needless to say, it was a lot more work then having it at a reception center, but i thought it turned out PERFECT and so beautiful. The best part was being able to see and visit with so many friends and loved ones, people you never get the chance to see. It was honestly just so fun. Thanks to all my dear friends for coming and supporting us and helping to make our day so special. I will always look back on my wedding day with great fondness, and remember it as the happiest day of my life when I was able to be married forever to my sweetheart, Clint, the greatest person I know.

That was beautiful. I think Clint is one lucky man, Lincoln thinks you are one lucky girl (he really likes your husband.) Reading your story brought back all the amazing memories of my wedding. Doesn't the paperwork at the temple take forever! I can't wait to see more pictures. I am so happy for the both of you
