Pretty Maids all in a Row

Everyday I go around the house humming, singing, or whistling the nursery rhyme "Mary, Mary quite contrary how does your garden grow? With silver bells and cockle shells and pretty maids all in a row." Why is this? Because its gardening season silly! And I know I just blogged about our spring crops we planted, but I had to update because as of yesterday we very lovingly finished planting the rest of our garden. And they just look so cute out there. Clint and I have really got into the gardening spirit this year, and have been reading books galore and are very excited to watch these little plants grow! I have been so into the whole gardening theme, I decided to re-read my old favorite childhood book, The Secret Garden. I wish I had a secret garden like Mary! But this garden is pretty good too.

Clint made all the trellises and everything! He is such a good little hard worker!

Niel & his boys got our garden in also. We have 3 kinds of basil, including cinnamon basil!

When I got married, I realized how fabulous gardening was. I am awfully proud of our little peas and petunias. It's the best.

Now that we have a house, I want an enormous garden so my kids can work all summer long. Ben reminds me that I have to work first. Sometimes I reconsider. :) I love your garden!

I love The Secret Garden. I always wanted a garden like that too. Yours is much smaller, but it comes pretty darn close to Mary Lennox's garden!
