Fall is such a fabulous time of the year. The air is crisp, the colors are brilliant, and there are so many fun traditions and activities specific to this time of the year. Clint, of course loves the fall first and foremost for football, but for me its all about the traditions! Last year we started one of my favorite family traditions, apple picking. We had so much fun, we decided we would have to do it every year. This year was even better! Thomas LOVED picking the apples and of course eating them. I think he ate at least 3 full apples. And he seriously picked nearly all of the apples we got.
"Mmmm! Bapples!" was what Thomas was saying most of the morning.
Why eat one apple when you can eat two?
This has got to be one of my new favorite pictures. He just laid down in the orchard and started laughing. He is so cute.

Oh and of course we had to pick a pumpkin while we were at it. These pumpkins are heavy! That little bum got sufficiently dirty on this outing.
Thomas took a particular liking to sitting on every possible pumpkin he could.

We had great fun on the tractor ride. Thomas liked making the chug chug sound.

We also went on a little hike to see the fall leaves. Unfortunately I didn't get the greatest pictures, but here is the little man leading the way.
And here he is pulling his mom along. We sure love this little guy. Fall seems like it is over in a flash, and in a way it makes you stop to take time to enjoy it, because you know it is going to be over fast. Too bad it precedes the worst season of all! Otherwise it just doesn't get much better.
And what is fall without a big pile of leaves to jump in? Thomas and his dad are so cute together. Just look at that little boy's face. He love his papa.

so fun! After you have an apple fresh from the tree the store bought ones taste so gross! Joey and Niel's apples were so delicious! What a cute little cutie!
