You guessed it! Clint and I are very excited to announce that we are expecting our first child this February 17th! We couldn't be more thrilled about it. We feel so blessed and lucky to be able to have the opportunity to be parents. I am about 14 weeks now, and Baby Allred is about the size of a shrimp, but we already love the little squirt. The first trimester was a bit of an adventure, we are glad to be done with that phase. And to make this event even more exciting....My older sister, Sarah, is also pregnant with her 2nd baby and due just 5 days after me. I have always wanted to have kids around the same age, and I am so excited to be having cousins so close together! We told my family together while I was in town for my brothers wedding. I think everyone was pretty shocked. Here's how it went down: Sarah made an announcement by holding up a onsie with the #4 (for the 4th grandchild) and then said, "Oh wait, I have the wrong one! This one is for Laurie!" And then I gave her onsie #5.
I am already getting excited about making fun and cute things for my baby. Here is my first completed project! I can't wait to find out what we are having so I can start making more fun things for baby. I have a feeling its going to be a boy, but only time will tell! Any predictions?

Laurie!!! Congrats!! Im so excited for you guys! We are due just about 6 weeks apart! And where did you find that cute lion pattern?? I love it! Wish we were closer- we could craft together. :) Hope you are feeling good. The first trimester is quite the ride. (and the second usually is for me too) so hope your energy is returning!
Cute, cute pictures, Laurie. I'm going to go by mom's predication and say that her grandbabies are following the order of her children. So that means: girl, boy, girl, boy, boy, girl. That would mean that we're both having boys.
But honestly, I don't have strong feelings about what I'm having one way or another. I have no idea what Washburn Baby #2 will be!

You totally just made my day with your exciting little news! All the sickness will be totally worth it once your little one arrives. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. By the way, having cousins so close together totally rocks. My sister and I have kids 9 days apart and it has been so nice having someone to talk to who is going through the exact same thing. So excited for you guys!

I love it! Laurie, how did I not know story of how you announced to your family when you came to visit...we visited for a while and you never told me! That is so exciting! I love it...what a cute way to announce, and with your sister too :) SO fun to see you!! Thanks again for coming by, I could talk to you for hours!
