Little Thomas Reddick was blessed on Sunday by his very sweet father. I was a little nervous that little Tom would scream through his blessing, but he did great! And Clint gave him such a nice blessing. Clint's parents came into town and it was nice for Thomas to have some family present for his big day. Isn't his outfit adorable? My mom made it for him, so in essence she was there in spirit. He is one lucky guy to have such loving grandparents. He was a little fussy during picture time, so we didn't get a lot of pictures, but I think these ones turned out pretty sweet.
Listening to Thomas's blessing just made me feel so grateful that I get to raise such a sweet and special little guy. I feel so grateful that Clint and I have the church in our lives so that we can teach young Thomas about the purpose of this life. I feel pretty lucky to give my son that gift.
We are a very happy family!

Oh, Laurie, I just loved this post. It almost made me cry to think of the sweet blessing it is to be a mom. What a special day.
He's so cute. He looks like a little pioneer baby in that first picture with his so serious face.
I'm sure he had pioneer ancestors on both sides aware that he was being blessed by a worthy priesthood holder. It's a good way to start life.
