Thomas's Pad

I meant to post this blog before Thomas was born. In fact I was going to post it on February 17th, but then I went into labor! But this is better, because now you get a shot of little Thomas admiring his mobile! Isn't he cute? I had a lot of fun decorating his nursery. I made the mobile, the curtain ties, the bedskirt, the rocking chair cushion, the bunting and I crocheted his stuffed animals. I had a pretty serious case of nesting. Probably should have been working on my art projects instead. Oh well! It really is cute to watch him stare at his mobile. I wanted to do little woodland animals that are native to Ohio, so little Thomas can have a connection to his surroundings here. Plus Clint and I love cardinals and blue jays :)

My friend Jen made some of his art and his little stuffed fox, and the numbers letterpress print and the snow baby art is from my friend Eva's company Sycamore Street Press.

Having seen the room in person, I can attest to its cuteness! You kids never had a cute room. I think you got a double portion of beautification skills; yours and mine!
