They had a great time making ornaments for the tree and helping us decorate.
Our tree has a lot of little homemade trinkets and things from the kids. Just how I like it.
And of course the kids loved decorating Gingerbread houses. This year I cheated and bought a kit from Trader Joes. My pregnant self just can't keep up with the holidays the same way.
The results were the same anyway! The only thing we lost was the sweet aroma of freshly baked gingerbread in the house. But the kids didn't mind and they had a great time.
One of our favorite traditions is doing our chocolate advent calendar. The kids always look so cute when they cover their eyes each night when we bring them out.
Christmas eve- I made these little pajamas for the kids. I block printed the fabric and sewed them. It was quite the project, but I had a lot of fun with it. Caroline got pink Shere Khan Tigers
And of course Thomas got firetrucks!
Me and my cuties.
Christmas eve Clint likes to read The Night Before Christmas.
Christmas morning! The kids were pretty happy with their loot.
Cute little jammies on cute little legs!Thomas got Legos
And Caroline got a little play kitchen. Here she is all dressed up like a 1950's princess in her kitchen :)
I made this little drop cloth playhouse for the kids and we put Caroline's kitchen inside.
I love peeking in and seeing the little cutie hard at play.
It wasn't long before there was a 2 alarm fire at the house. Luckily we are well equipped to deal with these types of emergencies.
We had a great Christmas, and were able to share a lot of great memories and times with our family and friends. Its a wonderful time of the year and the kids just make it so much fun.
